There are simply not enough words to describe everyone at Indiana Plastic Surgery. When you are facing cancer and a double mastectomy things look awfully grim and you simply don't know what to do. They help you and guide you through all of your options. It doesn't matter how many times you may ask the same question, they calmly answer it again. As far as the staff goes, they are compassionate, caring and always available to answer any questions. As far as Dr. Robinson, there is only one way that I can think of to describe him. He is an artist and I am his masterpiece. When I look in the mirror now, I smile and I truly never thought that would happen again. You truly know how to make a person feel well taken care of and you always put a smile on my face even when it seemed like I had nothing to smile about.

Dear Dr. Robinson, While speaking with you briefly last week I realized - much to my embarrassment - that I had not sent you the written thank you I'd vowed I'd do. (Nor had I sent one to Community Hospital's fourth floor nurses' station.) Seems I'd forgotten about it the minute I was liberated from the hospital; typical, I suppose. I realize that a surgeon is, by necessity, more concerned with his art form. Last fall, my husband underwent open heart surgery, performed by Dr. Jai Raman, at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Raman did magnificent work, but he and I exchanged words exactly twice. My husband's follow-up care was left to others. I don't resent that in the least; Raman's a busy man. Most surgeons are. More than likely, in my case, you found yourself handling clinical duties you wouldn't ordinarily have been involved in, due to the fact I had no primary care physician (at the time.) But you stepped up, and I appreciated that. I also regret the burden this must have placed on your schedule. Your kindness, concern and good humor are undoubtedly appreciated by all your patients. They certainly are by me. All things being equal, I will likely be the patient of more than a few doctors as I go through life. Because of you, they have a hard act to follow? I have every confidence that the next phase of breast construction will be successful. M.W.

Losing 100lb does things to your body. After working out like a mad woman for 2 1/2 years I realized the skin on my arms and my stomach would never shrink.
