Microdermabrasion Procedures

Microdermabrasion is a fairly new skin resurfacing treatment that uses special doctor-handled machines in order to rejuvenate and restore natural glow to your skin. The micro dermabrasion procedure is simple and painless and is equally effective to other surgical options (like laser skin resurfacing, dermal abrasion) and chemical peels.

Microdermabrasion Technique:

The specialized hand piece propels micro-crystals onto the surface of the skin, which results in a gentle polishing process. Each microdermabrasion treatment takes approximately 30 minutes to an hour to complete. The specified number of recommended treatments can vary from 2 to 3 weeks apart for maximum results. Microdermabrasion may require repeat maintenance periodically following the initial treatment. Microdermabrasion may be combined with other treatments like chemical peel to increase the effect.
